The six Anga are
(1)Siksa (Phonetics); education   (education is the nose of the veda purusa,)
(2)Vyakarana (grammar); laghu siddhant komudi is bascis book for it (grammar is  his mouth,)
(3)Nirukta (lexicon, etymology); ( Nirukta his ear)
(4)Kalpa (manual of rituals);(Kalpa his hand)
(5) Chandas (prosody); (Chandas his foot)
(6)Jyotisa (astronomy-astrology)  (Jyotisa his eye)
   The reason for each sastra being identified with a part of the body will become clear as we deal with the Angas individually.
